A HUGE problem with this accommodation is that even though the owners have written to Expedia to correct it, the listing indicates that this lodging is 27 km from Fram. It is actually 90 km and takes 2 hours to drive, most of which is on very narrow, windy mountain roads. The views are beautiful but we were not planning for such a long and harrowing drive. It is 27 km if you are a crow or have a helicopter. It was wonderfu when we finally arrived.

Lovely hotel in the mountains of Norway. Definitely a place I’d return to and spend extended time. Was impressed by the service, breakfast and they have a very convenient self serve grocery.

I expect a refund. I booked a hotel in “Flåm”. “ 14 miles away.”. That’s as a crow flies across the mountain. it’s a one hour 45 drive from Flåm. Horrible misinformation on Expedia.

Too far from Flam, only reachable by local train!

Description of hotel location is extremely deceiving! It is not close to Flam. Only close to Myrdal by a regional train that goes infrequently to a small train station that nobody knows!! Only reachable by train which we could not make because of cargo train derailment!! Owners do not answer phone much. We could reach them only once and they never answered afterwards when we were stranded in Myrdal. They never even texted us back. They offered no real solution nor were particularly friendly. Too far from Flam!!! Deceiving explanation saying they pick up from Flam Railway (they do NOT!). They only pick up from a small station 19 minutes only by train to Myrdal!!! No road connection from Myrdal. It is 2 hour drive from Flam!! Not recommended!!

Fantastisk hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Vi havnet her ved en tilfeldighet, men det viste seg å være et ypperlig utgangspunkt for å sykle Finse -Flåm. Stedet har stoppested for bergensbanen 16 min gange unna, stopper på Myrdal og deretter bytte tog til Finse. Leier man sykkel på Finse, kan denne leveres på Flåm. Ta den vakse Flåmsbanen tilbake til Myrdal og videre til Kårdal fjellstove ( 4stopp). Etter en flått sykkeltur laget betjeningen middag til oss, selv om kjøkkenet var stengt. God mat! Stedet leier også ut elsykler, fint turterreng. Anbefaler å kjøre veien oppover fra Voss, den er best og minst humper.

A hotel távol van Flåmtól. Ennek sok előnye van, az ember az érintetlen természetben van, csobogó, gyönyörű tiszta patak partján. Kedves vedéglátok, elvisznek a vonatállomásra ami amúgy kb. 10-15 perc séta. Annak ajánlom aki ki akar szakadni a mindennapi zürzavarból, csöndet szeretne, de van lehetőség elérni a várost. Mi visszamegyünk!
