"We had a lovely 5 night stay at the cottage in August. The location was perfect for us to walk into town and Velanio beach. The cottage was spacious, very clean and outdoor areas are beautifully kept. Efi & Mike are great hosts, gave us loads of information when we needed it and helped with ferry info when ours was cancelled. Looking for to staying There again in the future."

"As beautiful as in the pictures. We are a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and a 21-year old but still had plenty of room. Very hot but always somewhere to sit in the shade with fantastic views. "Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in Kalivi Karavi. Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind toll, die Aussicht von der Terrasse aufs Meer unschlagbar. "If you can’t climb over 5 flights of stairs request a lower room! The view was amazing. Breakfast was awesome and they provide a laundry service for a fee but worth it as they fold it all and have it ready for you at the end of the day! Very helpful and friendly! "

"What a Greek experience! This family-run, hotel is like stepping back into a more simple, regal time. This is a stay for those willing to slow down, immerse themselves in Greek culture and enjoy a more basic experience. If you enjoy character, personality and good people this is for you. The amenities are very simple but adequate. The hotel is a bit like a museum with beautiful antiques and architectural flourish. The rooms have balconies with sea views and AC. Sure the hot water only comes on during the time of day when people bathe, but it’s rustic. Don’t come to this hotel if you expect every convenience and luxury, come for the experience and the family. We were lucky to be there for Greek night, when musicians come for dinner and the old patriarch of the family sings and dances. The festivities lasted late into the night. A true Greek experience. The food was authentic Greek and delicious. There is poolside service for snacks and drinks. The hotel is run by two generations and everyone was warm and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Step back in time, slow down and enjoy what is important in life, the experience, but, don’t come looking for Egyptian cotton bedding and day spa services. "
