"Paradise on Earth"

"Rather disappointing for the very high nightly cost. Expected a very great deal more, especially as we had a junior suite which was just a slightly bigger room with a bed with just the frame of a 4 poster bed. The bathroom was ok but the towels small and thin. Alcohol in the room was free (4 small, bottles of whisky, vodka etc) but soft drinks and water were chargeable! The rooms were large and spacious, clean and comfortable and the bed was perfect. The food and breakfast were really great. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding area. "Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. The only problem with the hotel itself was the scraped and dirty walls and carpets leading up to our hotel room. Carpets ripped because, i am sure, of pulling luggage up the stars. The other major problem was the electricity was shut off by the electrical company in the area for whatever reason between the hours of 8 am and three pm. The electricity did not go on until Around four. We were alerted of the problem the day before. We had a wedding that day...

"The room was clean but it was very small"

"The room was clean and had a separate bathroom from the living area. We did not take advantage of the breakfast as we preferred to go to a nearby cafe with a great sea view. My wife commented that the bed linen was thin and rough on her skin, but I didn't notice. The pillows were fine. The only complaint was that the A/C was very strong regardless of the temperature setting and the blowing overnight dried out my mouth. We only used the minibar for water bottles and they were expensive about 4.5...
