A very nice chambres-dote in the middle of Vouvray. Lovely host and the pool at the top of the cliff (that you get to through a set of caves) has a fantastic evening view of the Loire valley. Secure parking at the property behind a locked gate. We really enjoyed our short stay here

Amazingly unique and special property. The couple running it were really friendly and provided great service and information. Everything is walking distance. The view from the pool is beautiful. It was a nice hike to a vineyard just above it with a great view of the town.

This was an amazing property!! Serene with elegant charm. My husband is an architect and he loved relaxing in the courtyard and sketching. The rooms are all uniquely appointed. The breakfast room is so bright and cheerful and full of warmth that you could spend the morning there just sitting and sipping tea. We will most definitely comeback and stay longer. Interesting property with secure parking, comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, and good location with friendly host. Breakfast is minimal and identical (coffee, orange juice, yogurt, bread and jams) which lends itself to shorter stays.

the room was big, clean, unique, modern but with a traditional quality due to the historic building. there are caves and tunnels and a unique climb to a pool. The owners are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple and delicious.

The host was a lovely lady who was a very helpful. friendly lady, particularly as we were very late because of traffic and multiple accidents on the roads. She was vry helpful too in providing details of where to visit and the good vineyards etc. The only disappointment for us, who booked thinking, wanting to and expecting to stay in a Chateaux, as the photos on their page show the rooms of the chateaux etc., was that we didn't. We stayed in a much smaller repurposed barn? It was a double bedroom which was an extra but still we felt we missed out on our Chateaux ex[erience.

Best stay think Ive ever had, amazing rooftop pool

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Lovely fresh breakfast. Welcoming and chatty hostess. Amazing rooftop pool with panoramic views which I had to myself 2x. Wish it was not full tonight too. Interesting and historic buildings.

This is a magical place! The owner are adorable! If you are looking for 5stars probably not for you, but if you are seeking hospitality and the real flavor or France then I highly recommend you to stay here! The house sits below a cliff and the pool sits on top of cliff for wonderful views. The pool and sauna staircase was tunneled into the cliff 1000 years ago. The sauna sits in a carved out room in the rock cliff for a one of a kind experience. It has a very calming vibe! Enjoy your breakfast with the other like minded travelers and share your experiences.
