Vraincourt Vacations

"Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then). Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling...

"The room was spacious and warm. The owner met us on arrival, he was very nice and spoke French clearly and slowly so we could understand. He was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, good choice on offer and the coffee was great excellent. We would happily stay again."

"We stayed here for 1 night only as a stop over but found the property to be absolutely incredible. The location is just mesmerising with various champagne makers around the village. The B&B itself is just gorgeous. We stayed in a family apartment containing 2 separate rooms which was perfect for 4 of us. "The Gite du Capitaine is in a small village in the countryside. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner provided was good. The room and facilities were excellent. The house is rustic and full of antique furniture in great condition. "

"On arrival we weren’t informed that the restaurant was closed and no bar facility. Town was handy. No coffee or tea facility in the room. Bed was comfortable."
