"We were pleased to find we had been given the bridal suite with four poster, jacuzzi and oriental furnishings. Nice thought, but not well enough maintained in the details: three buttons on the jacuzzi didn't work, the TV required a PIN code we did not have, the sound system was switched off, and all without any kind of explanatory manuals. The room was atmospherically dark, so much so it was too dark to read! There was no option for making it a little lighter. Breakfast was generous and ok. It...

"This is a great hotel ideally located for a longer visit and walk into the city. Our bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel. Although a long drive from Lincoln may have helped our sleep. The shower was excellent in terms of heat and power but the dated above bath holder and curtain let it down. It was too high and was best hand held or angered on the stability bar. That was a pity as otherise this was a nice hotel with great free parking. "

"Landing lights constantly flashing = electrical fault. Light above bed missing with wires hanging down in terminal blocks not taped up. Bathroom window rusty and paint missing around window frame. Dust on top of several things in the bathroom. Convenient for station and comfy bed is all I can say that is good about the place. Just like a cheap Belgian hotel in the 80s, but it wasn’t cheap!"
