"1) Needs pest control, spotted lots of cockroaches, spiders and lizards in the room. 2) Shower and sink needs lots of maintenance. 3) Typical dirty smell across the hotel 4) Advertised as continental Breakfast, they give you 3 slice of white toast, 1 cup of tea or coffee, and 2 pieces of fruit. 5) Blankets and linen worst quality, bad odour. 6) No natural ventilation, only way to let fresh air come in is when you open the main entry door for the room."

"While we enjoyed aspects of our stay, we were disappointed with the housekeeping service. Our package included daily room cleaning, however during our 6-night stay the room was only serviced 2–3 times. We expected a much higher standard of housekeeping from a resort of this calibre, especially when it was included in the package we paid for. This inconsistency impacted our overall experience and is something that needs improvement."

"We had a very nice experience. I read 1 star reviews and was a little surprised. I honestly think it comes down to preferences and perception. I do agree, this is not a 5 star resort. However, this is a lovely property with friendly service that is always available. We also really enjoyed the food, contrary to the negative reviews. The rooms were also comfortable and clean."

The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The food was excellent, the water was crystal clear and beautiful, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy throughout our stay. What truly sets Malolo apart is the people. Knox, Philly, Atu, Grace, and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness and personal attention made our experience unforgettable. I've stayed at many resorts, and Malolo Island Resort is by far one of the best. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return.."

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with large, functional bathrooms and the added convenience of laundry facilities. There is plenty of room for larger families or groups of friends to relax without feeling crowded, making it an ideal base for both short and extended stays. The easy access to the pool is a real bonus, and the food at Wet Edge was consistently excellent. What stood out most was how convenient and thoughtfully designed the property is for families. Everything feels easy, comfortable, and geared towards making your stay enjoyable. We would happily return."

"Close to airport so convenient, we stayed one night for that reason and then moved on. It served a purpose but we would have regretted taking a longer holiday here. Room was small, pool area busy and lots of children. For families probably perfect, but for a quiet relaxing stay - plenty more choices around Fiji, We found breakfast chaotic and noisy, wasn’t for us!"
