"My husband and really I enjoyed our weeklong stay here, away from the crowds of Honolulu and Waikiki. Some people said they thought the resort was crowded, but we didn't find that true for us (we went in June). It was definitely worth the hour+ drive to stay on the North Shore. We loved all the hiking trails on the property with many "hidden" beaches all to ourselves (and a couple of turtles). We made use of the free bicycles as well, and they also have horses for those who want to ride. Our room/bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the food at Beach House by Roy Yamaguchi was especially delicious. We hope to make the trip again someday! "

"We had a wonderful one week stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful and love that they give you free water every day and coupons for free ice cream. The coffee shop is very convenient for morning coffee and breakfast. There are shops, and restaurants and you can just walk down to the Hilton lagoon for the fireworks or beach access. The only down the side was the escalator wasn’t working to get your luggage up the stairs, but you can take an out-of-the-way elevator. You can walk to Ala Moana center, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. "
