"You don't absolutely need a car for Howzit Maui, but it's really helpful. The hostel arranges daily tours and activities, but if you don't make it onto the sign up sheet, then you need to make your own arrangements. There are plenty of people who have car rentals, so making alternate plans isn't a big deal. There are six shared bathrooms (with showers) and a seventh just for women. "It served as a safe harbor with a bed. That's all we were looing for. Hotels.com had the wrong address, so we had to call the hostel to find the location. A little less than we expected in terms of number of showers and toilets. Staff was friendly, and we met other travelers. Some tiny ants in the room near any food left outside the fridge."

"Barbs condo was absolutely perfect! Great location- we were able to walk to the harbor with shops and restaurants. Central location to easily access all parts of Maui. Condo was super clean and well equipped. Barb has everything you need to make you feel at home. Beach chairs, umbrellas, bamboo beach mats, towels, toys, a couple pairs of snorkel gear We would definitely stay here again!.."

"The only thing I did not care for were the added on fees. It was $25 per day for use of the coffeemaker and other such things plus $10.05 per day for parking. The other add ons were taxes which amounted to about $50 per day. All of this should be included in the advertised price."
