"The property was great. Clean. Functional. Comfy. Based on the pictures we were looking for a place a little more away from neighbors and this isn’t that. Neighbors are right close because the property is long and narrow BUT the way the yard is bordered by trees/other plant life you do get privacy. I feel like a picture of the parking area would make the house easier to find so you would know what you are looking for street side."

"We enjoyed 4 nights in this condo. The condo was clean and neat, with lots of room for our 4 person group. The balcony had a great view of the water. It was a great base from which to explore the Waimea area and the Northwest coast. It was driving, not walking, distance to restaurants and other touristy activities. The Managers were very good and helpful and friendly."

"This home was absolutely idea for our family of 10 (grandparents, parents, and grandchildren). Plenty of room for each family unit to have their own space. The kids (and adults) spent a lot of time in the infinity pool. The home was very well equipped and had everything that we needed to make our stay exceptional. The sunsets from the lanai were amazing! The beach was ideal for boogie boarding and Hapuna beach was a short 5 minute drive as well. Peter was one of the best hosts we have...

"Spent the winter holiday here with my multi generational family. The open floor plan and large kitchen makes it a great space for large groups of people to gather and co-exist. The kids loved the pool. The security system on patio doors helped us feel comfortable with the safety of 2 young kids. It’s set back from the coast in a residential area on a golf coarse. very quiet and peaceful with a local grocery store nearby. Upstairs patio has a nice outdoor dining area with sweeping views...

We enjoyed finding a variety of dining experiences in Kawaihae. Don’t skip the art gallery located in the lower level of the marketplace. Waimea was perfect for grocery shopping. We went to a farmers market there on Saturday morning and it did not disappoint! Fresh caught fish, yummy bacon, garden fresh fruits and...

"Six women - grandmother, 2 daughters. three 30-something granddaughters spent a week in this spacious open-to- the-world house. Walk out from first floor bedroom onto deck of infinity pool, edge often lined with colorful birds drinking and bathing. Better still, down 8 steps, across a patch of grass onto beach and into the sea, home to local turtles. No problem here for 90 year old with bad knees. Four big bedrooms, tv room makes adequate bedroom for kids or adult who wants to be outside all day...

"This was our 15th FLW rental, and it certainly did not disappoint. We enjoyed the remote feel of the location, while we also appreciated that it was within easy driving distance of everything we wanted to do. We also appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was—making it easy for us to cook dinner at “home” every day. We had plenty of space, and enjoyed evenings in the hot tub. "We celebrated my 70th birthday with our 4 daughters, sons-in-law, and 18 month old granddaughter. House was perfect for this. Casita-like, in-suite bedrooms provided privacy for everyone. Kitchen accommodated many cooks, the TV den was incredibly comfortable, and the pool was lovely. Sunsets were out of this world! We enjoyed all the Mauna Kea Resort amenities. It was perfect. One suggestion - and I may have missed this - listing should mention baby equipment on site; we ended up renting items...

"The beach on the property was awesome. The guys on the ATV's on the beach need to minimize there trips past the chairs with umbrellas, they went back and forth too much. They also need to travel down the sides of the chairs not through the middle divide of the chairs. "
