"My wife and I had the pleasure of calling this beautiful home our home away from home for seven wonderful weeks, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious, with more than enough room for the two of us. Its quiet, remote location offered exactly the kind of peace and tranquility that makes the Big Island of Hawaii so special.Some of our favorite memories were the simple ones — sitting on the back deck at night, gazing up at an absolutely spectacular sky filled with stars, and waking each morning to beautiful sunrises right outside our bedroom window. Those are moments we won't soon forget.The home was a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and truly enjoy the natural beauty and slower pace of island life.After seven weeks, we can wholeheartedly say this was a fantastic experience. We would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable Big Island getaway.Mahalo for a wonderful stay!"

"This stay at Palaoa House was a Hawaiian vacation worthy of mention. Check-in was smooth, and the host (Josh) was attentive and available for anything that might be needed. The house is clean and comfortable with everything that we needed.The ocean view from the kitchen, living room and lanai is calming and relaxing We couldn't have chosen a more perfect stay. We will be returning for sure."

"This place is a unique stay in paradise. The host was friendly and gave great recommendations and communication. The kitchenette was perfect to make dinner and the outdoor shower was a cool experience. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the room. We especially enjoyed waking up and star gazing in the morning and then watching the sun rise over the ocean. Unbeatable view of the sunrise!"

"Our stay at Halawai Haven was terrific, a welcomed respite following a brief visit to Kauai on the heels of Hurricane Lowell. Our host, Ka'Haiya, was wonderfully welcoming, giving spot-on directions, as we were coming in after dark, driving in the rain on unfamiliar roads. Our VRBO apartment, Halawai Haven, was lit up for our arrival and was clean as a pin, quiet and beautifully landscaped. The apartment was well stocked with many suggestions for what to do and see locally as well as exploration of the island. The kitchen was well equipped and the entire apartment was nicely appointed, light and airy, and very comfortable. The quiet of the countryside was very enjoyable."

"Authentic Big Island stay. Be advised it is listed as a Ranch on The Big Island it is not close to Hilo nor Kona. It is close to Black Sand And Green Sand Beaches. The price is as good as you can hope for. The hosts are quick to return your communication and are helpful and flexible. Very peaceful stay recommend the local farmer’s market and take in the epic sights."
