"The house was big and roomy. There are 87 steps to the house and 37 inside. So be prepared. There are the bare basics but now super cozy. Beautiful view. Nice garage for parking."

Great unobtrusive Kiwi hospitality in a wonderful location. We were there in early spring and already the garden was bursting with color with tulips, daffodils, and blossoms on the trees. Birdsong everywhere. Enjoyed a very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Had great communication from Renee and Kevin. Looking forward to returning.

This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return.
