I think this hotel ranks as one of the best I've ever stayed at during my times in Japan. It's one minute from train station. Great staff, helpful, large rooms (for Japan).

Loved it! So clean and what a great location (just next door to JR station). There are two adjacent shopping malls, Daiso is nearby, food options aplenty. The front desk staff are super professional and go over and beyond by thinking about the customer's needs. There is a free curry rice dinner service as long as you are a hotel guest (whoa!). There is no microwave oven in the hotel, but if you bring your food to the front desk they will heat it for you!

Hotel was extremely close to the Japan Railways Train Station. Room was larger than I expected. They gave me a coupon for free rice curry each night I was there. A Shopping Mall with restaurants next door made eating out convenient.

Conveniently located within walking distance from JR Wakayama and in front of the bus station, hotel is well situated for travelling to other parts of Wakayama or within the city. Hotel is pretty old and rooms are small sized. Bathroom is pretty compact which is typical of Japanese hotels. Do not get a room near the lift as walls are thin and can hear the lift moving up and down. Rooms are actually quite dusty as there were visible dust balls on the tea packets. Staff at the Front Desk were helpful and friendly.
