Recently remodeled house, in close proximity to 3 Midwest premier ski hills including Snow River Resort and directly across street from Michigan Snowmobile/ORV Trail #2 on a double city lot with plenty of room for vehicles and trailers. The house has a single car attached garage and a back deck off the dining room. 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs. Two of the bedrooms are small with a twin bed and the other two bedrooms have a queen size bed. Main floor has an open concept look with a front foyer, living room with a smart TV and high-speed WiFi. A dining room with a French door that opens to a large back deck. A fully equipped kitchen with an island. Fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, pizzazz, crockpot. Cookware and utensils. Basement with a washer and dryer, foosball, and a basketball shooting game. Hairdryer and bath linens, bed linens and kitchen linens are all furnished. Local restaurants, taverns, supermarket right in town. Nearby ski hills and waterfalls minutes away. When you arrive you will be self check-in with a door code.

Great place to stay

This was a very clean and updated little house with everything we needed for our stay. It was very comfortable and close to town. The communication with the host was very quick and easy. Highly recommend this place!!

Great stay!

Clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a quick drive to snow river for skiing. My favorite part was my XL car fit in the garage so no need to scrape snow in the mornings!

Convenient for skiing at Snowriver. Beds and couches were comfortable. House was well appointed and very clean. Maija was very prompt to respond to messages. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Very nice house, super clean and quaintly decorated. Plenty of seating in living room and dining room. The kitchen was well stocked if you eat in. The property is dog friendly and the host promptly responded to questions. A very nice place to stay.

Clean, quiet, and close to hiking

We booked a last minute trip to hike the porcupine mountains and needed a place to stay. The hostess was extremely helpful with our booking and getting us all set for a 3am check in. There was plenty of space and everything was nice and clean. It’s by an ATV trail but was still very quiet. Not too far from the porkies and Lake Superior. It was a great stay!

Little Gem in Wakefield

We stayed at the house for a family ski trip. House is located very close to ski hills. Beautiful, newly remodeled house with space for a family to spread out! Kitchen was stocked well with utensils and pots and pans. House was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!!

Family Reunion & UTV/ATV ride

Wonderful home, extremely clean, well equipped with everything you may need. Location was perfect for our family reunion activities and to the UTV trails we used. Check in and check out seamless and ability to communicate with properly owner if needed was excellent! Highly recommend to any group of 2-6 people who need a place to stay in the Wakefield, Bessemer, Ironwood area. 🤗👍

Perfect description of rental

The home was super clean which I truly appreciate and very comfy,newly remodeled with everything that a person could possibly need.The owner was prompt with easy checkin Instructions etc. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our coffee on the back deck in the morn. Also appreciate that it was pet friendly. I would highly recommend this rental!

little goodie in Wakefield

A lot of hard work went into the remodel of this house. Loved everything, especially the garage that is off the kitchen. It's close to all the cool river parks and has a complete kitchen. I tried to check 5 stars across the board, but the form didn't work.

Comfy home!

We need a place to stay heading back to our home area for a celebration of life. This place was nice enough to allow our pet. Once we got there, we realized it was more than just a house. The house was cozy, spacious, comfortable, and the yard is perfect for our dog. Our host had amazing communication with us, and even though we didn’t need anything, she was always receptive to communication. Definitely made the was pleasant. Highly recommend this house to anyone heading up.

Beautiful place

We had a lovely stay in Wakefield. The house is nicely remodeled and well-appointed. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and living spaces. The open floor plan worked perfectly for our family. There is central a/c, but it was still a little warm upstairs. The hosts supplied fans in each bedroom that kept us very comfortable. The house is on a quiet street, the wifi was great, and the hosts were very responsive. To note, the upstairs ceilings are quite low, and my boys (6'1" and 6'2") had to duck to make sure they did not hit their heads. The two twin bed bedrooms have a curtain for the door. It did not bother us at all, but just something to note if privacy is a concern for your group.

The host thinks of everything! She even had comfy blankets to snuggle up with in the living room. A variety of games to play as well. The only bad thing i have to say is that I didn't stay longer!
