"Beautiful location. An easy, scenic bus ride from the nearest train station. Our family of five felt right at home, with two small grocery stores up the street. Surrounded by beautiful hiking trails, a gorge, and water falls. A quick bus ride and brief walk you can swim in lake Walensee. "Nice traditional building, good size apartment (though the kitchen was tiny). Located further from.the village than expected, but great scenery and views. Lovely area to visit. The manager was helpful and keen to talk about walking route options. "

"Property was very clean, excellent bathroom, bed comfortable and had laundry facilities downstairs. The kitchenette needs some maintenance, only one cook top stove worked and there is no microwave. Overall a good stay. "

"If we come to anywhere near Appenzell, we will definitely consider staying here again. It is a great apartment in a good location. It has an excellent balcony for relaxing or dining al fresco. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. Wifi is good speed. Grocery store nearby. After weeks of traveling in country, we were especially grateful for the washer/tumbler. Thank you Lukas for all the details you thought of to make us feel at home."
