"Lovely!"

"We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!"

"This place is a hidden gem! Coming from a small town, but can hear road noise on a daily basis it was SO nice to relax on the front patio area in silence! Everything was neat and tidy. My kids loved the board games, and it was nice to let my 5 year old run around the yard. I would recommend this place 100x over!"

"The only thing we had an issue was, was finding the place. We guessed it was the correct property by process of elimination, but after that, every thing was easy peasy. I am really glad there were written out instructions since we lost service right when we turned onto Wally Rd. The back porch was perfect for when it rained and just night time hang outs. It was also super fun to see all the people in the river! The view was awesome."

"Clean & Comfortable"

"This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We have a "guys weekend" every year to just unplug from life for a couple days. This was a central location between Columbus, Cleveland and Akron where we were traveling from, and very easy to find. We comfortably slept 8 adults, had enough room in the living space/kitchen to gather and loved spending the day by the water and nights around the fire. Definitely recommend!"

"First of all, this place is as well-equipped as any VRBO you will see, particularly in the kitchen. Not just pots and pans and dishes but every type of gadget or small appliance you could possibly need and an entire cabinet full of spices, oil, flour, etc. We went in April to see the eclipse and other than a couple of family members not making it due to health issues, it was a near perfect trip. "We felt very much at home with this property. It was very clean and comfortable. It was well furnished with plenty of towels, wash clothes, kitchen utensils, coffee and tea, snacks, condiments, cookies and fresh flowers. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck under the shade of the trees. It was wonderful and we would love to stay there again on our next trip to the area!!"

"We were really impressed by the space and the setting of this home on the hill. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We played pool, walked the dirt country road, and our dog loved the fenced in yard. It's close to Mount Vernon, Kenyon College, Mohican Park, Kokosing Gap Trail, and several golf courses."

We love the Mohican area and this was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some time by a fire, in a hot tub, down on the river floating the day away, and cozying up on the couch before bed while watching a favorite movie! "Cannot believe how amazing this property was. The owners were super quick to respond to all my questions. The pond in the front is so relaxing to sit in front of and that sun room was so peaceful. Very clean and safe. Just be aware: it's a dirt road and when they say secluded, they mean it- cell service may not work. Overall 10/10, would stay again!"

"We stayed here with my family and my sister’s family to watch the eclipse and had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful and the owner was kind and responsive. We all enjoyed riding in the kayaks and roasting marshmallows in the large fire pit right by the dock. We loved that this home felt like it was a rural retreat, but yet it was not too far removed from civilization. Super Walmart was only 15 minutes away and neighbors were close enough but not too close. We would definitely recommend...

"I wanted a place for peace and solitude and man, this place was amazing! The cabin was perfectly equipped, the hosts were fabulous, and the hot tub was great after a day spent hiking and exploring nearby. There are little side quests if you need to venture out - like seeing the giant apple basket in Dresden, Honey Run Waterfall, covered bridges, Amish bakeries, Roscoe Village, etc. I hope to be back on my next break-cation.
