"Property as advertised. Very comfortable stay, with everything you need. Despite typical wet and gloomy Dartmoor weather, the cottage was warm with plenty of space for us and the dogs to dry off between walks."

"I think my wife and I were the third people to stay at this place. It was perfect. The owners obviously live here at least part of the year, and it’s clear they love it. The bungalow is lovely. The entire place opens up with classic English countryside views, sounds, and smells. They have around 10 bird feeders all over the place, along with binoculars, bird guide books, OS maps, general guide books. "Absolutely wonderful! Jane and her family were a total delight and incredibly generous - and the barn was perfect for our family (large, nicely kitted out and with everything you might need) and located in the most stunning setting. "

"The property was lovely - clean and spacious. Very nicely maintained with some fun wall decor throughout the house. Access was a little challenging up a spiral staircase although this was clearly stated at booking. Due to this, not advisable for elderly/frail people."

"We have a family walking holiday with dogs for a number of years and The View is the best property we have stayed. The view and location were outstanding and the local pub, which was a short stroll down the beach was excellent (including food)"

"A lovely little cottage which was warm and clean for our Christmas stay. Really well equipped kitchen, great bathroom with lovely shower, and comfy bedrooms. The location was nice and quiet while still feeling central. A few Christmas decs would have been nice, also there was no wood for the fire, but overall we had a lovely stay!"
