FLY & STAY AT GEORGE'S

Otopeni

10/10 Excellent

The hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport by Uber or by bus (line 100, 5min walk from the hotel, runs 24h; that bus also gets you to downtown in the other direction). The rooms are modern, very clean, and safe. Due to a booking error on my side, I needed to communicate with the hotel. They were very responsive and helpful. Just on the other side of the road where the hotel is located, you can find a Rumanian Restaurant and a coffee shop. They have no breakfast but a bakery is close...

Baroq Central City Apartment

Bucharest City-Centre

8/10 Good

Spacious and quiet place. The bed is great and the comfy balcony with a vista of the eclectic neighborhood is great for sunny breakfasts! You can glimpse the Intercontinental Hotel from the little window of the well-equipped kitchen (in need of a little paint retouch). The living could be livelier with more decoration (a rug?) other than plastic flowers. Overall very nice for the price; close both to the city axis (Magheru Blvd) and quainter streets in the historic Sector 2.

HOTEL GREEN GARDEN

10/10 Excellent

Context: We used this as a very short one-night stay moving through Bucharest on our way to Transylvania. It was in the June 2026 heat wave. Location: We took the train from the airport to Gara Nord, then walked with our luggage in Gara Nord to the metro stop, then took the yellow line out to Mihai Bravu and walked 7-10 minutes to the hotel. Don't do this during rush hour, but it makes for a very cheap navigation from airport to hotel. This is also great for exploring around the town, since a...

Hotel Maison Orient

Bucharest City-Centre

10/10 Excellent

The staff was very helpful with restaurant, train, metro, and postal information as well as managing bike storage so I did not have to wait on-site for a bike rental company. The room was clean and warm which was nice with the cold front that moved into the area. Breakfast was free and satisfying. The price was reasonable and I give an "excellent" rating with the price in mind. I would use Trianon again when I repeat this trip. The location is near city center which made sight seeing and...
