"The house has all that is required for convenient stay of 6 people, that is well equipped kitchen, seperate dining, launge, 3 bedrooms, ducted heater in all rooms and split airconditioner in dining, pleasant and green backyard with nice outdoor area, wood fireplace. Single bathroom may be a bit of a problem for the large company. It would be nice to have wood choping tools in order to make chips suitable for starting the fire, because logs provided or available in shops are way too thick for the...

"The Yurt is a hidden gem in O'Connell. The view from the veranda overlooks the beautiful landscape of country NSW. The kitchen is fully functional for light cooking. In cold winter days, the reverse cycle air cond and the electric blankets keep us warm and comfortable at night. It would be perfect if the WIFI signal could be stronger. I'd love to come back for longer stay in the future."

"Accommodation was great. It would have been better if the second television in the pool room was working so the children could have watched a movie at night I understand that water is a problem but the outside around the table and pool is very dirty. Also the broken step caused my elderly partner to fall on the hard surface. Could have been worse but I feel it should be fixed. Overall we had a lovely family get together."

"Up-cycle House in Blackheath is perhaps a little Quirky in the style and architecture of the house, but it is a comfortable and welcoming place to call home for the duration of your stay in the Blue Mountains. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to the Village shops, supermarkets, hotels and coffee shops. Also an easy walk to the rail station if that form of transport is required. All in all a comfortable place to base yourself for a Mountains getaway."

"Nice cozy place at the corner of the street overlooking the valley. Only issue for me was, the steep credit card surcharge to make the balance payment through the real estate agent’s website. I would have preferred to pay the balance amount using the stayz website which was not possible."

"It was a lovely place to stay. Kitchen well stocked. My daughters loced the piano upstais. Surprised to find violin scores too but we didnt brong the violins :) we played darts and fire pit at night was definitely a highlight."

"The property is magical. It is perfect for a group setting or small family. You can have an indoor fire which is great on cold misty mornings with a cup of tea and then a spot of tennis on the courts at midday. It is very central to a lot of walks in the mountains, a walking distance from the local town centre (15-20 min walk) and a 15 minute drive to Katoomba town centre. I would love to come back here."

"Check in was super easy and the host let us arrived earlier than 3pm which made it easier to managed the kids! The property is super clean and has everything you need. I didn’t realised we also had an outdoor area with table and chairs which was perfect before dinner to relax. The bathroom/ laundry would need to be renovated but it doesn’t affect the property."

"What a beautiful property. With fireplaces and multiple sitting areas we were spoilt for choice of where to hang out. We had a large group and had a wonderful dinner that we cooked onsite. We were all able to sit at one of the large dining areas comfortably, then had a few wines in one of the sitting rooms. The house is in a great location and Wendy and Wayne were very helpful with our requests. The welcome platter was a lovely surprise. We would definitely be happy to stay again."
