This is a lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly and the rooms beautiful, clean and welcoming. Little touches like classical music on the radio as you walk in - just lovely.

We loved this little pub that was older than our country! The room was wonderful and spacious. We had dinner there which was yummy, especially the creme brûlée - it was better than the one I had in Harrods! The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. It is opposite the church where Midsomer Murders is filmed.

This place is a real gem. The bedrooms are large, quiet, full of all the amenities you need, inc dressing gowns and full of character. I believe that most of the rooms are themed based upon connections with the surrounding area . The evening food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent as well as the service from all the staff. Breakfast options were a small but well stocked buffet along with the choice of cooked options - which again were excellent. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely return and stay longer next time.

Excellent room with very good mattress, very good shower, and very good heating. Had nice seating outside for the warmer weather. We had a bad experience with one of the waiters in the restaurant where it took 25 minutes to get our order taken after sitting down and 55 minutes before finally getting the food. Being a small village there was not really an option to go elsewhere. We normally stay in Henley where there are lots of good restaurants
