What a lovely hotel! Really excellent customer service from all of the staff. I had requested a room with exposed timber beams, and on check in, the member of staff (sorry, I didn't catch your name) went out of his way to ensure that this was what we got. The room was lovely! Beautifully furnished with sumptuous fabrics, comfortable bed and sofa. There is plenty of parking which seemed very safe. The hotel is in the middle of the small village, so well located for exploring. Also easy to walk to the bus stop (10 minutes) to catch the bus in to Oxford. Tasty breakfast with options for cooked or cereals and the like - or both!

Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and welcoming, restaurant lovely. Old building but in the summer months might want to consider some form of aircon to improve any stay further. But fantastic hotel, lovely!

We stayed one night, very impressed with the service and staff on our arrival. We were given a chioce of rooms which we found very helpfull. The rooms are immaculate as they are newly decorated. Food in the restaurant was absolutely first class as was breakfast the following morning. Overall one of the best value places we have stayed in. We will definitely be going back.

A wonderful relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were able to take our dog. We were all made to feel very welcome and the service and food were excellent! Thank you so much!

Lovely room aith adequate wardrobe space and a huge shower room. Our room was very close to the kitchen vent which was quite noisy especially when we had to open the window. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff and great location in this beautiful village.

The overall stay was lovely and the service from the whole was excellent, all very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, we were a big group and the staff deserved a nice big table for us for breakfast. The only negative was our room was very tired, however the others that were staying all said the rooms were excellent

What a find!!

Lovely pub and hotel, all staff so welcoming, everywhere was so clean and our room was lovely. The dinner was unreal the standard was great, lovely breakfast too! I would recommend visiting here.

Beautiful Cosy Hotel

Had a lovely 2 night stay, very welcoming and a beautiful hotel, lots of nooks and crannies and very cost with the log burner fires. Food was nice too. We would happily come back :)

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, it’s a shame that check-in is so late at 4pm. The room was very nice, clean and tastefully decorated. We had dinner at the hotel, food was nice, quick service but quite expensive, as are the drinks, but I suppose the pricing is online with area. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would recommend.
