The cabin was in great condition and had all the essentials provided. When we arrived it also felt very welcoming and cozy. No issues at all, though the owners seemed like they would have been very responsive if there would have been.Excellent location for enjoying the Petoskey and Charlevoix area. Walloon Lake itself is also a beautiful little town.

Cute cabin!

Very nice, clean, loved the hot tub, fire pit, and gas fire on the deck! Perfect place to stay for the weekend with friends!

Very clean and cute cabin!

Super clean cabin, very nice hosts. Looks exactly like the pictures, the host was very helpful, and they had a great movie selection! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again next time we are in the area!

Michigan getaway

Great property and location. We enjoyed the amenities close by, hiking, dining, shopping and wineries. It was nice to relax in the hot tub after a long day.

Snowy Walloon Lake!

Our stay was very relaxing in snowy N. Michigan. Felt very at home at the property. Comfortable and very well appointed. The hosts were very gracious and we were able to stay an extra day. Snowed every day and the snow was removed every day. Great getaway. 5 stars and highly recommend!!

Cute Place!

Excellent location to be outside of Petoskey and still near Walloon Lake. Was a quiet area and really lovely house. Plenty of breweries and wineries nearby. Hot tub was a huge bonus! The hosts were fantastic to communicate with and provided a wonderful space for a much needed getaway. Would love to stay again in the future!

Timing is Everything

We were unable to stay at the property due to weather issues not within our control. The hosts were very nice and offered an alternative date, but it didn't work for us. Hosts were very kind and we will likely try again another time.

Spring break family ski trip

My family and I drove up to MI so we could ski at Boyne Mountain. We stayed at David and Jenny’s VRBO and it was exactly what we were looking for. We had our own space (which was especially needed due to traveling with a 4 month old puppy who barks a lot when he is crated), it was only ~10 min away from the slopes, nearby tons of cute restaurants, and had a hot tub and yard! Perfect place to stay for our impromptu spring getaway!

Perfect up north getaway!

My husband and I came up hoping to see some color in beautiful up north Michigan and we were not disappointed. The house was absolutely adorable very clean and cozy!! The property and home were very well maintained. We will be returning!!! The hosts were wonderful! A definite must stay!!!!

Great Ski Weekend Cabin

David and Jenny's place was perfect for my group of 4 ski weekend getaway. The 10 minute drive to Boyne Mountain is so easy and 10 minute drive to Petoskey is perfect for a bite out to eat, grocery pickup, or casino trip. The drive to Boyne Highlands is only about a half hour away as well. We loved the clean hot tub and string lights in the back yard to relax after a long day on the slopes. David and Jenny provided great communication and had plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Would love to stay again!

Fall Color Trip

This little house was great for our fall color change and wine trip. The house is clean, cozy, well organized and had a great cozy feel. The hot tub and fire pit was the icing on the cake for us. Walkable to Walloon Lake Village area, Quick drive to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor and all the area wineries! Really good location. The only negative if there is one is the road noise while sitting around the fire in the evening. The house is just off31 and traffic noise is somewhat of a distraction. Great clean little stop that has a great location. We would definitely stay again!

Comfy cabin in beautiful little town

Great area to do lots of hiking and not far from so many beautiful Lake Michigan beaches to Petoskey stone hunt, which turned out great. Colors on trees were pretty much gone already, but the weather was perfect, and we enjoyed walking the calm beaches at Walloon Lake and Lake Michigan. Walloon is a beautiful little town with great restaurants and an awesome General store. Cabin was nice and cozy. Master bed could be replaced, because it is old and not comfy. Otherwise, everything else was great at the cabin and very clean. Hot tub was perfect, and so was the front porch to have a nice warm fire. Loved that our dog could be out with us on the front porch, and it was all closed in. Great trip.

Wonderful! Just wonderful!

I stayed in this lovely cabin for almost 7 weeks. It was just perfect. So comfortable and had everything you could need. Great location and walkable to everything in Walloon Village. The owners were as lovely as they could be and always made sure I had everything I needed. I ended up leaving considering them my new friends. Im looking so forward to my next stay with them. Bonus- pet friendly. My pup loved it.

Darling cabin!

This is a beautiful, classic, log home in darling Walloon Village! The owners were so easy to communicate with and very responsive. The cabin is so well appointed I can’t say it enough, from the clean and perfectly sized hot tub to cozy beds and well appointed kitchen! I Love to cook and use kitchens when I rent VRBO‘s and this one has it all, ice cream scooper, every knife and pot and pan you could imagine. There is also a washer and dryer which came in handy and had a nice folding table, which was a great touch and recycle bins which I really appreciate. We did not use the gas grill, but I have no doubt it’s clean and works great. The front porch sitting area has a really nice propane fire table in case you don’t want to tackle starting a fire in the backyard fire pit! The cabin is situated on a beautiful wooded lot with nice trails that you can wander through and look at plants, birds and trees. It is just a few minutes drive from Boyne city, Boyne Mountain, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs and would be a very easy drive to hit Mackinac Island for the day too. The Wi-Fi worked great and there are plenty of movies and games to entertain when the weather is cold or rainy. I highly recommend this great cabin!

Northern Michigan Getaway

The cabin was everything we thought it would be. The surrounding area was beautiful. Lots of charming towns and lots of things to do. We enjoyed every moment there and can only recommend it for future visitors.

Charming and Clean Cabin, Great Location!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. It could not have been better! The cabin is beautiful and very clean. With charming decor and an up-to-date kitchen and bathroom, it feels like a home away from home. The location is also perfect. Coffee shop, ice cream shop, restaurants and a park are within walking distance. It’s a short drive to Petoskey and Charlevoix. We even took a drive up to Mackinaw City to visit the Dark Sky Park. Had a wonderful time hanging out at the Cabin, making s'mores using the fire pit, watching movies and playing games. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for helping us have such an awesome vacation!

Great weekend getaway

The property was great! So close to Boyne Mountain resort that we were able to go back and forth for morning skiing, afternoon naps and back again for night skiing. The cabin is full of great books for kids and adults, movies and games! The beds were so comfortable and the hot tub was just what we needed after skiing all weekend. Would love to come visit during the summer months

Fantastic stay for a ski weekend

Spent the weekend skiing in the area and this place couldn’t be more perfect! We loved coming home to have a cocktail and sit in the hot tub, after which we made a dinner and relaxed in the warm and inviting home. We’ve already recommended this place to members of our family for a up north retreat.

Great little place for a family

We spent the week of NYE at this at this cute little cabin. It’s perfect for a family get away. The hot tub was nice to rest in after sledding and skiing. It’s nice to be only mi ties away from Walloon lake and about 15 minutes from both Boyne and Petoskey.
