"Main door is being worked on right now, so had to enter through sides. Staff was nice, but you have to pay $15/night for parking — weird considering the parking lot isn’t gated so anyone could come in/out."

"A lovely historic hotel in downtown Cedar Falls where I was born and raised. My grandmother actually worked as a housekeeper here around 1914. The room was quaint and had lovely antique furniture. I was put off though that there was a charge for water as it is usually complimentary. There was a jacuzzi tub but it did not seem to work. The entry door was very difficult to open and I twice had to return to the desk to get help. It would take a shoulder to get it open so not optimal for someone who has had surgery in both shoulders and has very arthritic hands! But still happy to have spent one night in this historic place!"

"The cabin was the perfect place to stay for us. We enjoyed the peaceful location and watching the wildlife on the river. Tina was quick to respond to any messages I sent to her. We had visits from Louie the dog and an extremely friendly orange tabby cat. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette is small but that wasn't an issue for us because we ate elsewhere. The stocked coffee bar and snack basket is a nice touch. We will definitely be back next time we come up to see family."
