"The hosts were welcoming, the kitchen was super well stocked so we were able to cook and bake, it was warm and cozy inside despite the very chilly outdoor temps (well below zero). Also, great selection of games!"

"The Marlin House is just as described online. The king bed was very comfy (and I'm a bit of a bed snob) and the house was perfect for our one night stay. It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. Just what I was looking for!"

"Fantastic lodging option and very affordable. The rooms are located above a very popular bar that does Karaoke night which is very fun and lively. Everytime I told people in the area I was staying at the Fairview Inn they would always ask me questions about the place because of its rich history. Be aware though that the rooms are quite small and there are shared bathrooms, but with two bathrooms you won’t have to wait long to use them and they’re cleaned every day. I highly recommend the Fairview Inn if you’re okay in a smaller space and just need a room for sleeping while enjoying what Alaska has to offer."
