"We wanted to do the Lost Colony and aquarium on our stop over. I booked this place on hotels.com. Check in was super easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The water was hot and the shower had lots of pressure. No frills, no pool, no breakfast. Just a clean, comfortable and economical place to sleep, close to the attractions. Just what we wanted. I esp loved that they folded the towels into fans and placed them on the bed. What a nice touch. We’ll stop by, again, on our next trip to Ga. "

"Great experience. Beautiful view from balcony, right on the beach. Room clean and nice, patio chairs on balcony for a relaxing view of the beach. Just be aware, there are a lot of stairs. "

"This is a nice little hotel on the beach with private beach access! As with every beach access we saw in Kill Devil Hills, there is a slightly steep dune to climb to get to the beach. When we were there, both the indoor and outdoor pools were open! This was great because they were rarely both busy at the same time. Breakfast was included with our cost and was good. Parking was free and convenient. The staff was kind, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and provided enough space."

"Jacob at the front desk was very helpful checking us in and also for getting us a quick repair of our door lock. The chief Maintenance man was great in handling the repair. The restaurant staff was very friendly Tuesday morning. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. "

"Staff was super friendly. The property itself was very homey & quiet. My kiddos loved the pool. My husband & I loved the direct beach access! We’ve been on several beach vacations but we spent more time at the beach here than anywhere else just because of how close & easy it was to get there. We felt extremely safe and loved the family & pet welcome atmosphere. If we ever come back to OBX we will definitely stay again! "

"The room with 3 queen beds and a kitchenette was the perfect size for our family of four. Location is close to many restaurants. Beach access right outside was great. The beach wasn’t overly crowded. "
