"The unit was not clean. The floors look like they hadn't been mopped for months, the skirting boards in all the rooms have dirt and mould on them. There is spiders and spider webs along the cornice in all the rooms. The toilet seat in the ensuite was not clean, there is urine all around the top of the toilet and around the fittings of the toilet seat. "Difficult to sleep as sheets were itchy and a lot of light intrusion. B&B? No coffee, sugar or tea, milk supplied. The bathroom was very dusty and toilet either stained or not cleaned. Previous tenants rubbish left behind in bathroom and a dirty sock left under the lounge cushion. Kitchen adequately equipped. Furniture adequate. We have stayed in many budget accommodation and never experience dusty, rubish and scratchy sheets before. Wont be back."

Oaks Ipswich Aspire Suites

10/10 Excellent

"The room and amenities were very clean. The bed very comfortable. Kathryn and Brit on reception were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Overall, we were very happy with our 2 night stay."

Toowong Central Motel Apartments

10/10 Excellent

"We needed a place to stay for one night for our family of one mum and two daughters. We were really happy with the sleeping arrangement and the fact that there was a kitchenette. The room was spacious and even included a balcony. In the surrounding area, there was a good selection of restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance as well as a supermarket in the Toowong Village centre. The CBD was just 15 minutes drive away which was another good factor. We would definitely opt to stay here again if we need to visit Brisbane city again."

Peppers Clear Mountain

8/10 Good

"I had a newly renovated room which was well decorated. A shame they didn't sound proof the adjoining room walls. The room had not been check again by house cleaning prior to my stay and it had lots of inspects on the floor in the bathroom under the skylight. This was not cleaned up by house keeping while I was there. I ended up washing them out of the bathroom myself the day before I departed. The restaurant was well attended but terribly under staffed. Considering the staffing levels, the dinner menu was too complicated and should have more simplified meals. All of their dishes were too overly focused on native ingredients, wattle seed etc. I am not an expert but enjoy my food, but some food on the plate needs to be plain to compliment the fancier finishes. The dish sizes were small, and I guess due to the slow service came out barely warm. You wouldn't want to be feeding a sports person or a hungry teenager on what is presently on the menu. Some simpler, quick to prepare dishes please. I have been going to this restaurant for evening drinks for over 12 years now. It is delightful to do so. This was the first time I have ever stayed in the hotel rooms. Would I stay again, yes. There is a lovely pool, which I will hope to use if I stay again, particularly if it was in summer. It would be magic. Overall, Peppers Management, I expected better."
