"A Perfect Escape at Valley of the Rainbow
Our stay at Valley of the Rainbow was absolutely fantastic! While there was no cellphone signal or WiFi at the chalet, it was a welcome break from technology—exactly what we needed to truly unwind. The setting was peaceful and breathtaking, making it the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature.
We had an amazing time exploring the trail walk, which offered stunning views, and even tried our hand at fly fishing. Manie was an excellent teacher, and...

"Beautiful surroundings and very friendly and helpful staff.
Restaurant setting was good with lovely fireplace, but food was average for its price and no wine menu to speak of, just house red or white, no sherry/ports or dom pedros. Breakfast was lovely.
Some firewood was provided free of charge, but not enough to keep the room warm all night, so had to pay R35 for extra firewood.
One nice feature of the rooms was electric blankets on both sides of the bed, but the modern shower and toilet...
