"Von der Unterkunft aus kann man viele interessante Orte mit dem Fahrrad erreichen; im Ort kann man das Notwendigste einkaufen und Essen gehen. Leider gab es so viele Mücken, dass wir nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen konnten (ein Müvkennetz über den Betten oder vor einer der Türen wäre hilfreich) Im Übrigen ist die Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was sehr schade ist. "This apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was close to shops and restaurants. Volendam was an adorable town and we highly recommend the Volendam museum for local history. Bus stops and ferries were convenient for day trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hoorn and Marken."

"Wir hatten bei Nel und Peter eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche, welche leider viel zu schnell vorbei war. Bei Ankunft oder auch sonst bekamen wir von Beiden wertvolle Tips für Unternehmungen, welche auch alle toll mit den Fahrrädern zu erreichen waren. Hoogwoud ist zentral gelegen und optimaler Ausgangspunkt für alle Unternehmungen egal in welche Richtung. Wir können die Gegend, sowie die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. "

"The amenities on the map are either completely missing (like the boat rentals) or not working (like the trampolines). Of the facilities that were working (like the small pool) yiu are blocked from accessing these from 7:30pm, so if you do something during the day you will likely miss out on using these (like we did). The cabins are basic and close to each other, unfortunately our neighbours were partying until 1:30am so we didnt sleep well, and reception closes at 5pm so there is nothing you...
