"It was my first time at a hostal being a lone female traveller l was a bit apprehensive but I had a really great time at Generator. Staff happy and helpful all the time. Met people l wouldn't usually meet and l had one awesome evening with a few. It's all there for you, you don't even have to go outside. "Overall, it’s a great hostel. Quite modern and the best thing is the location because it’s very easy to get public transportation from nearby and is just a few mins walk to Tower Bridge. Earlier, I was a bit worried how will I sleep without AC but the fans helped and it was much better than my expectations. "Is a good place but those sheets I was hitching there in the night. I wouldn’t trust those sheets on the bed . Privacy zero it’s a hostel what you expect . Receptionist where great but the facilities look broken and hold it’s a fast and convenient place for just 1 night, if you spend more than that it becomes a depressive place . I don’t really know how people live there for months . "

For a start The number given for check in was not working, luckily there was someone there who phoned them for us as there was no one in reception,contrary to what was advertised.
