Situated on a mountainside that feels remote despite being minutes from a highway, this lodge offers villas that feel secluded and "away from it all," along with ocean views. After a month in NZ, this was probably the nicest place we’ve stayed. It felt like we were visiting a friend’s home, instead of staying in a hotel. Sitting room cozy, kitchen modern, fully equipped and clean. Hosts very friendly. Close to town which wasn’t too touristy.

The best I ever had in New Zealand! Since I came here, everyday is just new and different. There is so much activities to do out here. Very quiet too. 3mins walk to the Warkworth city Centre. Best location ever and it is about 45mins to the Auckland central (10am-2pm and sometimes later in the day). You have to come here and see things for yourself..I promise you, you will love it here. Exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and spacious. I loved the balcony for morning coffee and for evening dinners. We had an amazing view from the 10th floor. I loved the big kitchen. Two grocery stores and the beach very close by. We had the One plus one apartment.

Great room, spotlessly clean, fresh cup of hot tea brought to my room on arrival. Great little town square area of restaurants and pubs just a 2 minutes drive down the street. Would stay again with no hesitation.

This was a great find! A bit off the beaten track, but that adds a lot to its charm. Its only 8 minutes to the village, but is in a very peaceful and beautiful countryside setting. Great views of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Great staff. Definitely a winner!

We found our stay and the Maxim to be beyond a 5⭐️ experience. Staff was friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Facilities were immaculate.. Can’t say enough good things about the Maxim.

I absolutely loved this property it had the right amount of busy but calm/quiet charm in a safe suburb at the right times. Staff both front desk and back house excellent service provided. As a single female traveling alone as a lot of us are doing these days the parking arrangements are safe, simple and easy. Clean room, good communication with the staff. AC worked great. The jacuzzi tub was excellent for tired, weary muscles.

I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating.
