"I went there to propose to my now fiancé, the plan was for friends and family to arrive first and by the time I proposed on the mountain our friends to be waiting to surprise her. The staff was super accommodating with an early check in and the place was great, very large and ski on ski off from western territories. Highly recommend if you're there with a large group."

"We enjoyed our time at this home in Hot Springs. The home is clean and the kitchen well stocked. The location is very close to town and easy to get to. The neighborhood is quiet and the view lovely. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions."

"We only stayed one night but the home served us well. We hiked and bike, so home's proximity to Jackson River Scenic Trail and Lake Moomaw was very convenient. House was a modest ranch style. Kitchen was well stocked. Water smelled of sulfur, but owners said it had been tested and was deemed potable. Setting of home was rural and pretty, ensuring lovely views from the outside deck and gazebo."

"We loved our stay over Mother’s Day weekend. The house is very comfortable and has a great front porch and lawn. The creek was lots of fun for our kids as well. Everything inside was well maintained. We didn’t use the back house at all but did check it out. Everything is close in Warm Springs so this place made the weekend very easy. I can’t imagine why staying at the Homestead would be better, at least with our young kids. We will visit again."

"Had a GREAT time here! House was beautiful and perfect! Trail was well marked and obviously well maintained. Creek out back was so nice to the ears, nice fire pit (didn’t use because it was rainy). Host was super nice and attentive about any questions I had. Great place to stay, would highly recommend!!"

"This is a very well maintained property in a perfect location. Only a few minutes walking distance to the slopes & the village, and sporting great views over the mountain ranges to the west. Everything is clean and functional, and the owners are quick to respond to any requests. They even left a nice stack of firewood in the garage, and a basket with goodies (including home-roasted coffee beans) for us to enjoy. "With rain in the forecast we decided to cancel camping and look for alternate accommodations. We found the Kitchen House last minute and ideally located. It was the perfect home base for our biking adventures, central to the areas we wanted to visit. Brian was responsive and gave us a place to hose down and securely store our bikes.
