"Great little spot. Right on the rivers edge. Nice and quiet. Heaps of bird life. Pelicans, black swans swimming up to our back yard. You can fish and crab right from the property. Canoe up the river. We hired a pontoon and spent a day cruising the river and canals. Everything we needed was provided at the house. Our dog absolutely loved exploring the garden and the neighbours were super friendly. Highly recommend 😁"

"Eight of us (all seniors) had a wonderful 5 days in this magnificent house on the canals. Everything was spotlessly clean and spacious. Great sitting on the verandah decking watching the birdlife and trying our hands at a bit of crabbing with drop nets of the jetty. Lovely setting and would thoroughly recommend a holiday here for all ages at anytime of the year"

"We loved staying here and had a lovely time. We enjoyed the beautiful views and convenient location. It had everything we needed and I was happy I could bring my dog. One small problem was the bathroom light was not working but otherwise we had everything we needed. Thank you."

"Such a lovely cottage, 4 good size bedrooms and 2 living areas. Back garden and deck area was great to just sit out there and watch all the different birds that visit. Wood fire was wonderful and there was an abundance of chopped wood. The kitchen was well appointed and a good size. We really enjoyed our stay"

"The Sunshine Shack has been very tastefully renovated and furnished, and the backyard is very comfortable with some lovely shady trees. However, it doesn't have a washing machine, which is inconvenient for a family of 4 staying for 4 nights, and it situated in an area that feels like suburbia."

"Air conditioning did not work in the loft area - a message was sent, unfortunately it wasn’t looked at during our stay. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot over long weekend. Lovely and close to beach and beautiful coffee shop. Spent many meals down at the beach."
