Soak in the local flavor at Warren's covered bridge and general store, then venture to nearby Waitsfield for farm-to-table dining and artisan shops.
Great fire pit are along the river behind the Lodge and Kimberly was wonderful. She gave us a great tour of the property. But almost no restaurants open on Monday evening.

Amazing hotel stay! I stayed during off season so it was fairly empty. My room was incredibly clean and QUIET! I slept like a baby. The hotel room had such a classic “wealthy” vibe to it. Very luxurious in a modern way. Staff was friendly. Parking was great. Only semi bad experience was the restaurant on property (inside of the hotel) - food wasn’t the best and very expensive. (Although my bartender was very nice)

like staying at a B &B. the hosts were very accommodating
and the fireplace and wine/beer bar was an added attraction.
very close to Sugarbush ski area. Great recommendations for restaurants in the area

Staying there was like traveling on time and we were avle to learn about the history of the original house and famous bridge in front. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff very responsive and kind. Breakfast served was delicious and fresh.

We loved staying here! The room and bathroom were massive. It was quiet and very charming. The little touches that the owners add in the common areas made us feel right at home. We even woke up to sourdough bagels in the morning with a bunch of different spreads. We would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately I arrived late and left early (it was a business trip), but I had one drink at the bar, gave the menu a thorough read, and saw enough to say that I will definitely be back on my own terms for a longer stay! Great spot!

The staff at the Comfort Inn are wonderful. The rooms are clean and quiet. Everything works and the shampoo and soap is good. Breakfast is included (nothing special). The coffee in the room is good and included and there is always half and half available. You can walk to Applebee's. Shaws is a quick drive across the street and there is a gas station close by.

Gorgeous period B&B, and Caryn, the owner, takes the "bed" and "breakfast" of a stay seriously, with a Quality mattress/bedding and breakfast from scratch recipes with homemade bread.
Walked right across street for good food, and several others a short walk or drive away...local businesses who care about your service ( not chain restaurants).
Would stay here again whenever in area!
Thank you, Caryn♡
