"House is lovely and inviting, just like the pictures. The entrance stairs are a little steep, but manageable. Very spacious, open and comfortable. Great place to spend relaxing. Close access to several state recreation areas for boat ramp. Quaint country store about 3 miles from the house with good food and milk shakes. Will definitely be going back."

"This property was perfectly located for my son's wedding. The vows were recited in the woods on his property on Collins Mill Rd in Castalia, N.C. but the reception was held in the old train station on Mason St. in Franklinton. Everything worked out perfectly, even though rain drops spoiled part of the ceremony. Our stay at the house was comfortable all week and the street was quiet in the evenings. There was ample parking for our family's 3 cars. Main street with its shops and many dining venues...
