"We came for a spa day and overnight stay with treatments booked, for my partner’s birthday. The check in process was quick and easy, our room was lovely (we booked a king room) but we ended up being upgraded for free to a superior king which included a mini bar and was slightly larger. The bed was super comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. The spa was nice, the relaxation room and treatment areas were really clean and so relaxing, ambient lighting and calming music really set the tone. The staff were lovely, explained everything to us as we had never been before. We both had full body massages and they were incredible. Claire did mine and she was really lovely and I was super relaxed afterwards. The pool area was nice, a little busy and not exactly like the photos online, but we still enjoyed it. The hot tub was gorgeous but possibly a bit too much chlorine in, my eyes and jewellery suffered slightly! I’d made a request to have champagne put in our room while we were in the spa and they did it perfectly. My partner was really surprised when we got back up to the room. We didn’t eat dinner there but had breakfast the next morning which was a lovely buffet style with a wide variety of choices, suitable for coeliacs and vegetarian and vegan. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and spa experience and we will definitely be back."
