"This is a great property that backs up to the Somme River. The view in the backyard is beautiful. The enclosed patio is a great place to read or have dinner. There is lots of shade from the 4 huge willow trees. There are lots of birds and frogs, and you can see hundreds of fish in the river. It’s very peaceful. The house itself is fairly basic but clean and it has everything you need. The owners have good communication. I highly recommend this property."

"A mid price hotel on the outskirts of Peronne. As usual with such , its away from the centre, a car journey for shops, restaurants etc. The rooms are quite small but, adequate for the essentials. Shower worked fine with ok pressure. The beds are comfy, maybe an extra pillow would be nice. Breakfast was good, wide choice and typical of French fare. The evening meal a little disappointing. Better to visit one of the restaurants in town. The staff were friendly, efficient and spoke good English. Parking on site. This was a battlefield trip so it forfilled my requirements and, I would book again in the future"

"The host Hubert was wonderful and very informative.The property has a beautiful and very large garden and we were able to use the little rowing boat.The property is old and rather cluttered (this could be classed as charm) and unfortunately a little dirty, a lot of cobwebs, dirt behind doors and in cupboards. On a positive however the bedding and towels were spotless.Due to the extreme heatwave and no A/C, Hubert did provide fans including a new one which helped.It is about a 30 minute walk into Amiens but 10 mins the other way to a litttle patisserie."

"The family that runs this hotel are the kindness people. They are the new owners and have done everything they can to provide the hotel with a fresh start. They were attentive, friendly, provided superior customer service and delightful. We were so lucky to have stumbled upon this place. "
