"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "Great view from balcony, everything you would need for a self catering holiday. Really good as a base as the main harbour is a short walk away and the Breakwater cafe is even nearer. If you are looking for chic designer decorated rooms forget it, if you want a comfy sensible base with a very helpful owner then this is the place. Yes you can see the building is older in places but overall it represents excellent value for money and a great place to stay."

"The Oratory is a quaint beautifully presented property ideal for easy access to the moors and all the excellent local walks. Princetown has two excellent pubs within easy walking distance of The Oratory serving good food. Highly recommend a stay here. I will be back"
