"We absolutely loved our stay at the Rockland Talbot House. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very, very comfortable. The property is a beautiful, well kept house from the 1800's with lots of character and original pieces. The Inn has a wonderful coffee machine with hot lattes, cereal, oatmeal, muffins and other pastries for breakfast as well as fresh fruit, juices and yogurt. A total step back in time, but there were some great modern conveniences; heat pumps, electronic locks for check in and for the rooms, wifi. The host was very accomodating. "The Rockland Harbor Hotel has been a lifesaving resource. We have taken respite there while renovating our new home which still has no drinking water or reasonable showering or bathing and no laundry can be done. The hotel staff always help us by placing us in a comfortable room near the laundry facilities which really work well. We arrive to a clean room, can shower and start our laundry. With help from staff we’ve discovered very nice restaurant options and then we can enjoy the free included breakfast (with pop tart options) and head home with our clean laundry. It has been a Godsend. The property, though older, is extremely clean and all the rooms we’ve stayed in have been spotless. We’ve really grown to love Rockland and we really appreciate the nice people at the RHH."
