The house comfortably sleeps 8 guests. With a queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom, a full-size bed in the secondary bedroom, and a twin pull-out couch in the office, 5 can sleep upstairs. Add a queen-sized air mattress, a daybed, and the couch in the living space and there is easily room for 8. The space is perfect for families, couples, considerate groups, friends, and business travelers.

EXTRA SPACE NEEDED? We rent the basement unit (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and separate living space) of this home separately, but if it is available and you need more space, please inquire about renting both units simultaneously! We are happy to offer the basement to be included as part of your booking at a discount. This will allow for up to 12 guests to comfortably stay at the house.

NOTE: Absolutely NO parties or events are permitted in this space. Please be respectful of our neighbors; no loud noises between 9pm and 7am.

The open concept first floor allows for space to unwind after exploring the city and its wonders (Cherry Blossoms, museums, the National Mall, pandas, etc.!) while enjoying each other's company. TV with Amazon Fire allows for ultimate relaxation!

The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig to start your day right, a microwave, refrigerator, oven, sink, and dishwasher. Perfect for at-home meals. Not much for cooking? Rest assured, we are surrounded by some of DC's top restaurants, cafes, and bars!

Upstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms and an enormous roofdeck, all yours to enjoy.

Cute house
We stayed in DC for 2 days. The house was cute and had everything we needed. The shower in the master bedroom was amazing. The mattress in the second room needs to be replaced as mentioned in other reviews! The rooftop was awesome and great for mingling and hanging out. The downfall for us was that the home Was located in an area with non friendly grocery stores and we really wanted to primarily eat at home. We went to six before we got what we needed and even then we were still lacking some food items. The house was a s expected and looked exactly like the pictures. I was very thankful for the explanations that were inside the white book. Overall we had a lot of Fun and our family fit comfortably in the home.

Weekend Wedding Staycation
Our stay was very nice. The host was very at tentative and easy to get a hold of. The pictures are accurate. The inside is very beautiful. However there were a few things that were not like the pictures—the stairs leading up to the deck didn’t feel extremely stable. As an adult I was ok using them but I wasn’t comfortable carrying my baby up and I wouldn’t let a little kid go up them alone. The other thing that was not as expected were the mattresses. They were very thin, caved in, and without a box springs. Lastly, the location didn’t feel extremely nice however there’s a sign that says “Cameras in Use” on the outside of the unit with multiple in use cameras outside for extra security. Overall it was a great stay and close to the wedding we needed to attend so it worked out perfectly for the weekend.

Lovely house is the perfect DC neighborhood
My family was in town for a wedding and decided to extend our trip by a few days to explore DC. We had four adults and three kids under 9 staying at the house. The house was very comfortable and provided plenty of space for everyone to relax and sleep comfortably. The house is in a very convenient location to walk to the National Zoo or hop on the Metro to explore other parts of the city.

Beautiful property
We arrived and were excited to see we had everything we needed. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. The roof deck was beautiful although we didn't get to use it because of the weather. There are several restaurants within a mile of this location. We, a family of 7 including a 2 and 6 yo, decided to take the bus to the monuments and it worked out great. If we are back in DC we would love to stay there again.

Home is renovated, kitchen is nice. Hardwood flooring throughout the house. Not too familiar with the area, but I assume for the price I paid it was worth it. No wash cloths. Floors & rugs could have been cleaned better. The downstairs couch had stains I guess from wear and tear. Should look into getting it deep cleaned or replacing couch. High security which was nice. Amazon tv was nice. House was fully stocked with sheets, kitchen ware, cleaning supplies, body wash, laundry detergent. Top deck was nice, would suggest the couch cushions to be replaced. Parking was chaotic to be expected. If you can consolidate cars I would because of parking and the garage can fit two big cars but it will be tight. Overall 4.2

This is an amazing place! So clean and comfortable. Loved the extra touches, Large Shampoo, conditioner, Body wash in both showers. Coffee pods to last the entire stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Clean, safe, spacious - great for a group!
We stayed here for a friend's bachelorette and it was great! We also rented the downstairs unit and there was plenty of room for our group. It was clean, the neighborhood is safe, and the hosts responded quickly. The rooftop is amazing! Two things to note: - We were under the assumption there were multiple parking passes, so you definitely need to let them know ahead of time if you need them to get you additional passes. The house does include two spaces. - One of the toilets made a screeching sound the entire night (which was not the owners fault) which made it impossible for the folks in that room to sleep. They came the next day to fix it but it was still a big inconvenience.

Oasis on the Edge of Rock Creek Park
This is a centrally located rowhouse with a lot of space and great extras including a parking spot and a roof deck. The house was clean and well furnished. Electronic locks made checking in a breeze. Very attentive owners with very good taste.

The owners are pleasant to deal with and helpful with the surrounding area. Like restaurants and such. The house was really nice inside as well. You are close to the Metrorail so you can ride into the heart of dc. It is just a short walk to the terminal. The parking area was definitely a plus.

I’m not sure I know nice enough words to review this place!
We needed a last minute place for an overnight stay when the contractor re-doing our floors gave us one days notice that they would be arriving on 12/23. This house is lovely and the owners have thought of everything. The roof deck is wonderful, bedrooms were comfortable (my children had never watched tv in bed before, so they were thrilled) and the house was meticulously clean. Easily the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. Thank you, Kate!
