- Wake up in a charming historic cottage, sip coffee on the porch then stroll just minutes to Little Washington's beautiful waterfront, local restaurants, breweries and boutique shops. Whether you are traveling with your dogs, in town for our many festivals, visiting ECU, or escaping for a quiet weekend, The Tilted Cottage is designed to feel like your own little home in coastal North Carolina.
The cottage has been fully renovated, impeccably cleaned and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy fast WiFi for remote work, central AC and heat for every season, plenty of parking and a spacious, fully fenced-in yard where both guests and four-legged friends can unwind.
A few steps away is the newly updated Bug Park with brand new pickleball courts. A 10 minute walk or short bike ride carries you to Haven's Gardens Park on the Pamlico River where the kids can enjoy a large playground and picnic area or enjoy all that Main Street has to offer. If you don't feel like driving or walking back, take advantage of the FREE Tar Pamlico Trolley that will bring you straight to our front door. Then spend your night relaxing with a book, a game night or firing up the grill with friends.
The Cottage is conveniently located just 30 minutes to Greenville NC airport (PGV), East Carolina University and 45 minutes to New Bern and Coastal Carolina Airport (EWN) making it the perfect home base.
