"Fantastic couple of nights here, check in was easy, parking either straight out front or on the street around the corner. Bus stop just outside with an easy trip into town so we could have a drink with dinner and not worry about driving. Can touch on to the bus with a credit card. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order by the hosts and was excellent quality! Would stay again."

"Would have been much better if some sort of breakfast was on offer. No reason was given for not allowing alcohol. Room basic but tidy, reasonably well situated."

"Close to the train station, the beautiful gardens around the abbey ruins and the historic centre of York. Enjoyed the owners friendliness and warmth. Felt very much at home. Excellent breakfast too."

"The B&B was very conveniently situated a short walk from the city centre. Parking with an EV charging point, useful for us to top up our car. Staff were all very friendly and courteous, highly recommended."

"The room was very nice. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. "
