The hotel was not what we were expecting from the website. It was in a poor area and appeared rather run down. We were expecting a restaurant but was told on arrival that it is closed in the winter, breakfast only. However the owner took pity on us and provided a three course meal in our room which was very good. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Owner was very nice but we will not be using this hotel again.

This place is great for a little getaway. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the view of the town from the hot tub is amazing. I'd totally recommend it to anyone looking for a place away from the bustle of the city.

Hotel was a bit more rustic than I had expected. The people are very pleasant and it is possible to have your evening meal there as well. It is adjacent to a camping facility.

Overnight stay
The room was more like an apartment with a kitchenette, shower room, table and bench seat downstairs and a separate double bedroom upstairs plus 2 other sleeping areas each with twin beds. We also had a small garden area with picnic bench directly outside the patio doors. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint (from my teenage children) was that the Wifi stopped working later in the evening.

Well worn hotel but friendly staff
The place is certainly showing its age. Our duplex was cramped but mostly clean. The kitchennette is bare minimum (eg. No oven or toaster). The shower stall drained very slowly. Despite all this, Michel, the hotel manager was most helpful and genuinely tried to assist in any way needed. If pressed, we could stay here again for a short duration.

Arrivée à 20h30, j'ai mon nom placardé sur une affiche collée à la porte, avec mon numéro de chambre indiqué. Je n'ai pas trouvé cela très discret… Chambre impeccable, confortable et grande, petite terrasse très sympa, joli cadre mais un chauffage coupé donc une chambre glaciale compte tenu de la météo (12° C extérieur). Le confort, le cadre ni un petit déjeuner délicieux et varié ne rattrapent pas une nuit désagréable et sans sommeil. C'est bien dommage.

Nicht zu empfehlen
Das Appartement ist sehr eng geschnitten, alle schon alt und abgewohnt. Die Sauberkeit ist leider katastrophal. Überall Staub, Spinnenweben und Flecken. Im Kühlschrank Schmierflecken der Vormieter, in der Dusche Schimmel, der Garten verwildert und ungepflegt. Wir waren so oft wie möglich draussen, weil es sonst nur schwer zu ertragen war. Hier nie wieder!
