The resort is remote, which is great - but worth stocking up on sunscreen and snacks before you arrive. Also, the beach is stunning - starting to collect some garbage along the shore - but exquisite. "I feel the Shantaa Resort is the best option on Koh Kood. The villas are amazing with great A/C, clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and the ocean view is rocky which isn't that big of a problem. The beach is 200 Meters to the left which is an easy walk. You can rent a scooter for 350 Baht for 24 hours to explore the Island & try other local restaurants. The food was great (not too overpriced) and the staff were all super friendly. I would definitely stay again!"

I would recommend for anyone that wants a private setting or even family friendly setting this is the place. They can help you with motor bike rentals to finding you a nice relaxing massage on the beach. We went about 12 minutes on motor bike to a nice cozy restaurant called mangrove where the food was delicious...
