"An idyllic stay, but with a few minor slip-ups that could have been avoided. Without that, I highly recommend it, the view is magnificent, but beware of noise pollution. The breakfast is TOP, especially the banana pancakes."

"A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. Freshly caught lobsters and seafood, and the best gourmet breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owners. We shared laughs, stories, and karaoke in the evenings with other guests. They also coordinate tours and other activities on the beaches and surrounding islands. Also I recommend this wonderful place for a Pilates retreat - Yoga - Family reunion promotion, etc."

"The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Although the road in is a bit of a challenge, we did not mond, we liked the somewhat remote location. It keeps the place low key and relaxing. The beach is beautiful, we did not even mind that it was too rough to swim. The restaurant has a great view and the food was great. It will be a go to place of we return to Panama."

"Ataraxia is a peaceful and beautiful place hidden between jungle and sea. Saw plenty of wild life both on land and at sea. The food was delicious and the owners and staff always teady to go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Would come back a hundred times if i could. For.the price difference treat yourself to an ocean view cabin, they are fantastic."

"Staff very friendly. Room clean and comfortable; view great. Door to deck would not lock-notified staff but after 3 days never fixed. Convenient to excursions & great kosher restaurant (limited menu)-Sababa-short walk- Hotel restaurant nice. No phone in room. Recommend-comfortable boutique hotel- Not handicapped accessible."

Nice conversations, games evenings together or delicious dinners are just as much a part of the experience as the exceptionally clean and tastefully furnished rooms and facilities!
