"This was like stepping into a different time and place. The house, although dated, has a seamless European vibe with fixtures and details that are uncommon, authentic and charming. The home was obviously much loved and cared-for when it was built and is an absolutely perfect summer home. The location is so beautiful, overlooking the turquoise water of ghost lake with multiple patios from which to take in the view. We went with friends and cooked gourmet meals together in the open kitchen then feasted at the big dining room table that is the focal point of the main floor. It was delightful. The place has also seen better days... The grounds are not well cared-for with lots of dead plants, most things are quite worn-out, with broken stairs to the water and a completely buckled and inaccessible dock. Even with all of that, we still just loved this place for its uniqueness and character. "
