#beach Access by boat or by steep steps down the cliff, from the coast path. Near Combe Martin. Very peaceful late afternoon as the tide went out. At high tide the little island at the centre of the picture is separated from the cliffs by a narrow channel of water that's passable in kayaks. At low tide a sandbank/beach is revealed giving great views of Little Hangman.

Watermouth Castle More a modern folly than ancient castle, with private apartments to let at the rear, and a children's funpark.
