Completly Amazing. Perfect

Perfect for all ages. Well equiped all around. Comfortable, quiet, relaxing. Many things to do nearby. Enjoyable just staying on the property. Did not once hear anyone say they were bored.

Family and friends hunting party

This is the second year that we have stayed at the property. It is just right for us. The owner as extremely attentive to the needs of his guests. I look forward to staying there again.

We enjoyed being together as a family in a cabin that was roomy, very clean, and well kept.

Larry was an excellent host. He was very kind and considerate meeting and exceeding our expectations. We enjoyed time as a family playing games, being outdoors, and our favorites were nightly bon fires. The decor and space was nicely decorated and our grandson loved “the big bucks”. This getaway was perfect for our family. We will keep this place in mind for future getaways!

Wonderful Rental

First of all we give 5 stars to Larry for being such a wonderful host and so accomodating. The rental was perfect for 6 adults and 7 kids under the age of 11. We rented it as we had a family reunion at Lake Kampeska so our only regret was not being able to enjoy it as much as we wanted to. The yard is beautiful for playing games, beautiful front deck for sitting for coffee and cocktails. The kitchen and house is fully equipped with whatever you need. Great firepit area although we didn't have time for a fire. We would definitely rent this again! Definitely a 5 star property!

Family Christmas

The place was quiet, clean and perfect for our multifamily christmas celebration. The home was decorated for christmas for us still in January. To include a small christmas tree. Plenty of games and a great welcome to the house book plus very interesting information on the history of the place. I highly recommend for any type of gathering and because some of us are from the area it is also a perfect location for hunting or fishing.

Big, fun, and relaxing!

This was such a great experience! We had a big family get together of 5 families all staying at the lodge to celebrate our parents' anniversary. Each family had our own room and plenty of space to spread out. The lodge is out in the country with a beautiful landscape, space to take walks, play yard games, and enjoy s'mores by the campfire. Plenty of things to keep kids and adults entertained. Larry is a fantastic host! There is also a nearby lake with a Frisbee golf course and park maybe 15 minutes from the lodge. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent Rural Getaway

Group of friends stayed here for an ice fishing trip, place offered great space and sleeping arrangements for the group. Will definitely stay here again if in the area!

X-mas Gathering

The Lodge, a few miles north of Lake Kampeska, met our large group needs perfectly. The Lodge is part of a century farm site so there is a lot of family history within the house. This made it one of the most personal VRBOs we have ever rented. The place was fully stocked, had all the needs for our 9 mth old granddaughter, the X-mas decorations were great, and Larry was right on top with communications. We will definetely stay here again.

Larry is awesome. The place is beautiful. It held our softball team for state. Great place to get away. And enjoy the weekend. Easy to get too. Beautiful home.
