"We only had a quick overnight stay for the hospital the next day. The place looked amazing — it was smart and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly, no messing about. The room was perfect for what we needed. The only complaint was that there were no plugs by the bedside table. But overall, we were really happy with our stay and would recommend it"

"Clean room but tired bathroom. I was originally pleased to have a bath but there was no plug. Comfortable bed but this is the second time I have stayed and had to make the bed. The bottom sheet had not been fitted to the bed just put on top of the mattress then covered with the duvet. Sloppy housekeeping."

"We were met by very friendly staff and made our way to our room. It was well proportioned and fine for one night, but a bit snug for a family of four for any longer. Unfortunately there was an overwhelming smell of drains in the bathroom, but we arrived late at night and were just keen to get to bed so didn’t request another room etc. Only when getting in to the sofa bed did we realise it had only one single sized duvet for two people to share. Again, it was late and we didn’t contact reception for another. The breakfast was great - good choice and beautifully fresh. Friendly staff of breakfast duty, though we did end up with rather a lot of dishes piled up and would have appreciated them cleared away as we were finished with them. The swimming pool was fine - we had a quick swim and it put in the morning before heading off. The area does seem really tired, in need of proper repairs and a general freshen up. Overall, I would return."

"We always stay here when we come to Watford and wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The staff were helpful and kind, the rooms were immaculate and the buffet breakfast was delicious. There was plenty of food anvailable and lots of choice. Can’t fault it at all! "
