"I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway. My wife and I are old and very unsteady on or feet. It would have been nice for us old folks if we had known what we were getting into. But it’s great if you are young. "I had to stay a couple of nights. It had everything I wanted and more. The patio is well thought out and lovely, breakfast was generous, pool clean and safe, gym well stocked, location convenient, staff helpful and supportive. My only complaint (and I have this for most American hotels) the hot water tastes like coffee. A designated hot water carafe would go a long way to making the place perfect. Coffee flavored hot chocolate for me is fine but coffee flavored chamomile? Am I alone in this??"
