A great spot to stay close to Shenandoah and the Blue Ridge Parkway! This place did the job and was in a good location. My only negatives were that the hallway smelled like cigs and there were only two pillows on the bed. Still not a bad place for the price!

A Place to Stay After Driving 1,221 miles
The room was nothing special but….it was clean, the air conditioning worked great, bed was clean and comfortable, and there was hot water so that’s a win for me. The gentleman checking us in was nice and friendly. Breakfast was small but what was there was fresh and good.
I was traveling with my dogs, and this was a great place to stay! Clean rooms and grounds and pool area was great

The room was in a separate building and unfortunately the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. The room itself was clean and recently renovated and containing the microwave and refrigerator with cable TV beds are comfortable breakfast buffet at the front desk was great waffles scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, many items just a great breakfast Buffet hotel front desk. Staff was nice answered questions. Everything good
Wonderful staff, very comfortable. Great place for through-hikers to recover and do laundry. Walking dustance to coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery store.

Our stay was great. We did not have a chance to explore the surrounding areas or get a chance explore the amenities the hotel offered
because we just stayed for one night but the hotel was fine and they also had breakfast, that’s always a plus.
Great value for the price ! Friendly staff, free breakfast, microwave and fridge in roon and a pool.

We were impressed with the check in process. The person checking us in was very helpful and professional. The lobby was immaculate and smelled wonderful. We were not pleased to see that the same smell and cleanliness factor did not cross over to the hallway to our room, or the room we stayed in. The hallway had a strong marijuana odor. We noticed that there were a couple of roaches in our bathroom. Our mini fridge froze all of our drinks.

the hotel was clean but very very old and in need of repair and painting. the staff were great the breakfast jut ok
The hallways and entrances smelled strongly like weed all the time, everyday. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not open, the chair had a broken leg, the water had a brown tint to it, breakfast was minimal. Needs updating. Location is great, being so close to A.T., Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive.
The Econo Lodge was run down, poor carpeting, smoky smell, very small room with poor condition chair and people sitting at front door in their car arguing. The manager did allow us to change to a room at Quality Inn on the same property. The room was clean, in good condition and larger. I would rate our stay at this facility as 4/5.
Waynesboro impressed me more than I expected. For a basic city in the heart of the Shenandoah there is a lot of hidden gems to discover. The Econo lodge is nothing to write home about but I found it to be well worth the cost. The room was exceptionally clean (for a budget hotel), breakfast was continental, and the bed was comfy… everything you can ask for at $60/night.

The hotel is actually two hotels Quality Inn and Econo Lodge managed out of the same front desk. The Econo Lodge building is not as nice as Quality Inn. As soon as we walked into the Econo Lodge building it reeked of marijuana, I felt like I was walking into a stoner’s den. The building backs up to the bottom of a hill that someone could walk up to your room window undetected, I did not feel secure. On a positive note, the breakfast was good.

The carpet in the entry of the building was dirty and the hallways smelled bad. The room was okay. It had updated carpeting. The sheets had a burn hole in them, though, and the desk chair was broken. The finish on the ottoman in the room was peeling. The bed was comfortable and other furnishings looked good. Thought about going somewhere else, but stuck it out because we had already paid for the room. Breakfast was terrible.
While the staff were very nice, the hotel and room were dirty. I believe i got bed bug bites from the bed as i have red swollen welts on my neck. The bed barely had any bedding. A thin sheet and a thin blanket. The bathroom wasn't clean. No thin thing of soap for the body. The tub had chip paint.
The breakfast was subpar with watery eggs and make it yourself waffles. Many of the juices weren't working. For almost 200 bucks, I expected more.
Never again and I would advise people to stay away. It's dirty and disgusting!!
